A daily guessing game built around Hololive Vtubers - inspired by Wordle and the broader wave of daily puzzle games. Players are presented with a hidden streamer and guess their identity based on matching traits revealed with each attempt. This project had its initial implementation completed around April 2026, after recommendations from colleages to use Next.JS, Supabase, and Vercel to quickly spin up and deploy my application. Current updates will arrive as time permits, but as it currently stands, it effectively serves the purpose of being a daily puzzle game that anyone can play.

The motivation to create a project like this came around August of 2025, a time where I became more invested in my personal coding journey, and at a peak of my love and appreciation for Hololive. Alongside that, I had a facsination with daily puzzle games like "Wordle" or "Connections", fan-made games for IPs like League of Legends with "LoLdle", or specifc trivia for video games in "Gamedle". These games exist both as a test of knowledge for the many hours I've spent interacting with these various interests as well a nice brain break from the chaos of daily life. Much like doing the crossword on the Sunday paper, you can find me running a gauntlet of -dle games before bed.

Thus, the idea for Holodle was born, because to the best of my knowledge, no other developer had taken on the challenge of creating a game in this format for Hololive.
